Meet Mrs Lee
My name is Sarah and I am a fully qualified teacher with an Enhanced DBS check. I began teaching in 1997 and worked in several East London schools before relocating to Kent in 2017.
With nearly 30 years of experience teaching children aged 4–14, I specialise in developing key literacy skills and helping children build confidence in English. Throughout my career, I have supported children of all abilities, from those needing additional support with reading and writing to more able learners looking to deepen their understanding and achieve greater academic success.
About SarahLearning English
I specialise in teaching all aspects of the English curriculum across both Primary and Key Stage 3. Your child may be at the very beginning of their literacy journey, a developing reader and writer building confidence or an older student preparing for the increasing demands of secondary English. Whatever stage your child is at, I can provide engaging, personalised lessons tailored to their individual needs.
Lessons can support reading fluency and comprehension, spelling and grammar, creative writing, analytical skills and exam-style responses where appropriate. My aim is to help every child make clear progress while developing confidence and enjoyment in English.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to all parents. This gives the opportunity to discuss your child’s specific learning needs and for us to get to know one another. During our chat, I’ll also demonstrate how I deliver engaging online lessons.
You can then choose the lesson length that works best for your family—whether that's 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
